Min. Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Metallurgy passed out from reputed College / Institute (IIT / NIT /Govt.College)

Experience : 20+Years of experience, working as Quality head of Large Steel Plant

Languages:

English, Hindi , Knowledge of Marathi will be an added advantage.

Preferred Age:

Between 40 to 55 years, Male

Candidate Background:

We are looking for a dynamic & experience leader with a proven track record. Person having more than 20 Years of working experience in Quality department out of which 3-5 years working as Quality head of Large Steel Plant, manufacturing Alloy Steel / Stainless Steel as Cast & Rolled products which is manufacturing Engineering Steel- Long Products, Special Steels, Super alloys & Stainless Steels via. EAF/ Blast Furnance , LRF , VD/RH degasser / VOD/AOD, Continuous Casting / Ingot Casting etc.

He should have knowledge in Metallography, Microstructure, Heat Treatment, NDT, Steel making, Failure analysis, product development, Statistical quality control procedures, TQM etc.

Job Description:

1) Should have extensive knowledge in process technologies of Primary /Secondary steel melting, Continuous Casting, Ingot Casting & Rolling technologies with special reference to long products in SBQ / Engineering steel, Stainless steel & high alloy steel.

2) Knowledge of melting of special steels, super alloys & stainless steels using advanced secondary melting techniques including VAR,ESR will be an added advantage.

3) Exposure in Inspection techniques like Ultrasonic, Eddy sonic, MPI.

4) Knowledge of quality requirement of different customers in Auto / Forging / Oil and Gas / Energy. sector.

5) Monitoring of Quality assurance activities and ensure smooth functioning with other interfacing departments.

6) Ensure reduction of rejections and attending the customer complaints / enquiries promptly.

7) Development and stabilization of new product. (Special alloy steel)

8) Monitoring & stabilization of internal production process and system.

9) Ensure Zero Mix-up materials, timely clearance of materials.

10) Ensure Quality improvements.

11) Sound knowledge of all quality management systems (QC tools, ISO, TS, IATF etc.)

12) Conversant with National and international standards.
